From Drones to Anti-Disinformation Systems: Explore the Defense-Tech Solutions Developed by Students at the Summer School on AI

Our Data Science expert, Sarnatskyi Vladyslav, recently participated as a mentor at the "AI for Defence: Drones, Security, and Disinformation" summer school. Over a week, participants from Ukraine delved into AI applications in defense, supporting the Armed Forces on the battlefield and in cyberspace.

During the program, students gained hands-on experience in:

- Assembling FPV drones and integrating AI into robots

- Utilizing AI to monitor and combat disinformation

- Learning from top experts who shared practical tips on creating systems to combat disinformation

The event culminated in a hackathon where participants, with mentor support, developed their own defense technologies. Congratulations to the winners on their innovative solutions that will help protect Ukrainian defenders.

The summer school was organized by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine in collaboration with leading universities and industry partners, including National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, Lviv Polytechnic National University, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, Cyberpolice, Molfar, Osavul, and IT-Enterprise.
